About Cassandra
This is me!
I’m Cassandra and I am the person behind Finding Your Wild Potential. I like going to gigs and seeing clever musicians make incredible sounds. I like watching live sport and riding the emotions of a good footy game. St Kilda supporter here, so it really is a rollercoaster! I think sea turtles are the absolute best. And I love a good pizza!
I’m also a social worker with 8+ years of experience working in the mental health field. I am ‘Dare to Lead’ trained, based off Social Work royalty (Kween!) Brene Brown’s work and research. And I am a qualified Mental health First Aid instructor.
You may have already guessed, but I have a passion for understanding people and mental health. I believe every single person should have a baseline understanding of mental health and how to look after themselves and one another.
In my ideal world, everyone is encouraged and supported with Finding their Wild Potential.
This is me. And I am looking forward to getting to know you too!
About Finding Your Wild Potential.
Finding Your Wild Potential is about ensuring you live a fulfilled life, on your terms and not based on those pesky ‘societal norms’ we’ve been led to believe.
Finding Your Wild Potential is about taking control of your life.
We are about creating a community where everyone is capable of realising and living a life to their fullest (Wild) potential. Because heyya, that’s what this one short and crazy life is for, right?! Finding Your Wild Potential is about teaching you the skills and practices to increase your self awareness and uncovering your deepest desires in life. No matter how small, big, wonderful or whacky they might be.
We will support you to make the most of today whilst striving for your future goals and life changes.
We work with people to increase their understanding of mental health literacy to support themselves and their loved ones. I help people to understand their personal values and what truly drives them and walk alongside them whilst they make meaningful changes to their day to day lives so that their values and actions align.
My goal with becoming a Mental Health First Aid instructor, is to see that MHFA is as popular as a physical First Aid course and that every Australian adult becomes a Mental Health First Aider.
We believe that improved mental health education is the key to improving our mental health outcomes. Prevention and early intervention is the key!
How I can help.
